The Important Stuff
This family recipe is so good, even the Don himself would approve. Best part? It’s as quick and smooth as a made guy on a mission.
Whether you're sipping solo by the fire or raising a glass at the big family feast, this recipe is the way to add a little sweetness to your season. Let’s get to it before you find yourself in hot water with Nonna.
The Ingredients (aka Your Crew):
- 1/2 cup Bee Mafia Cinnamon or Raw Honey – The star of the show, bringing that signature sweetness to make your taste buds sing.
- 3 cups whole Milk – Keep it rich and silky, just like a well-run family business.
- Cinnamon & Nutmeg – To taste. These spices are the muscle, giving your eggnog that warm, cozy kick.
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla – A subtle undertone that keeps everything in line.
- 1/4 tsp Salt – A pinch of salt to balance the sweetness, because even the sweetest families need a little grit.
- (Optional) Rum – For when the boss calls for a stronger celebration.
The Method (aka The Plan):
- Assemble the Crew
Grab your favorite pot, and heat the milk on low in a double broiler. You don’t want to rush this—smooth operations take time. - Bring in the Honey & Eggs
Stir in a separate bowl Bee Mafia Raw Honey & 5 eggs until it’s fully dissolved, fluffy and airy. This is where the magic happens. - Spice It Up
Add honey & egg mixture slowly to the warmed milk. Mix slowly and add in cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt. Taste as you go—this is your signature recipe, after all. - (Optional) Add Rum
Stir in a shot (or two) if you want to get into the holiday spirit. - Once mixture does not drip fast off a spoon it is ready to be removed from double broiler.
- Transfer Liquid into a new bowl and place onto an ice bath. Allow to cool fully.
- Serve and Celebrate
Pour into mugs, garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg, and toast to a holiday season sweeter than a deal you can’t refuse.
A Little Insider Tip:
This recipe gets better the longer it sits. If you’ve got the patience of a consigliere, chill it overnight and serve it cold the next day.
From all of us at Bee Mafia, may your holidays be sweeter than ever. Cheers to family, honey, and a touch of Christmas magic.
